Yung-Ting Tsou, PhD
Yung-Ting obtained her master degree in Linguistics at Leiden University. After that she worked in Chang-Gung Memorial Hospital in Taiwan, doing research on language development in children with hearing loss. From September 2016 she did her PhD in our lab under the supervision of Carolien Rieffe, Johan Frijns, Boya Li and Mariska Kret. Her PhD research focused on emotion processing in children who are deaf or hard of hearing, using eye tracking and psychophysiological measures.
In November 2020 Yung-Ting received her doctoral degree. Since then she works as a postdoc in our lab on the development and implementation of an intervention scheme for a school playground that facilitates social participation and inclusion among children. Yung-Ting also supervises students with their research projects and theses.
