Dr. Andrea Samson
Andrea Samson has done her PhD at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland), did a 5-year postdoctoral stay at Stanford University, and is now a senior researcher at the Swiss Center for Affective Sciences (CISA) at the University of Geneva in Switzerland. Her research focuses on positive affective processes including the study of sense of humor, as well as emotion regulation in non-clinical and clinical populations with a particular focus on Autism Spectrum Disorder. Currently she is focusing on the development and testing of a novel positive emotion regulation training for individuals with and without Autism Spectrum Disorder. Moreover, with a team at CISA she is developing a board game to teach emotion regulation to children.
