Dra. Luísa Monteiro, MD
Dra Luísa Monteiro is a otolaryngologist, ENT-surgeon and coordinator at the Department of Otolaryngology of Hospital Lusíadas Lisboa, Portugal. She is founder of the Early Screening and Intervention group for pediatric deafness and a representative at the OMS World Hearing Forum. She has been a part of our lab since 2016, participating in the project on social functioning and inclusion of Portuguese preschool children with hearing loss (coordinated by PhD student Brenda M.S. da Silva and Dr. Guida Veiga).

On November 16th this was discussed by members of several stakeholder organizations during an expert meeting on “Effect of policy on schoolyard culture and social inclusion” (Effect van beleid op schoolplein-cultuur en sociale inclusie) in the beautiful Hortus Botanicus, Amsterdam.
