The Instrument for Reactive and Proactive Aggression (IRPA) Self-Report was developed with the aim to distinguish between acts of reactive versus proactive aggression in children. The self-report is based on a Teacher-Report: the Instrument for Reactive and Proactive Aggression (IRPA; Polman et al., 2009). The IRPA Self-Report consists of 36 items and has a two factor structure describing reactive aggression and proactive regression. The item response format is: (almost) never, seldom, sometimes, often, (almost) always. The questionnaire is available in Dutch. The English version also exists, but is not yet validated.
