Johan Frijns, Prof.dr.ir.

Johan Frijns aims to translate the results of fundamental research (e.g., computational modeling) into clinically applicable methods and techniques (such as speech processing strategies or electrode designs). His main research direction is otology and auditory physics with special emphasis on cochlear implantation. Johan is a physicist and ENT-surgeon at the department of Otorhinolaryngology, Leiden University Medical Centre (LUMC).
