Robert Vermeiren

Robert Vermeiren is professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and head of the subdepartment LUMC Curium. Further, he is head of research at Youz, Parnassia Psychiatric Institute, a large child psychiatric institute. This way, Robert combines practice and research, in order to ascertain clinical usefulness and implementation. Participation of stakehoders (e.g. youths) is key in his work, which focuses on the most complex group, youths with a combination of problems, including suicidality, selfharm and eating disorders.
